New PE equipment

Today we have had a fantastic time exploring our new and exciting PE equipment. We especially like our new climbing frame! 

Growing Beans!

We have been planting seeds today. Each child has planted their own seed in a small pot. Over the next few weeks we will be watching to see how the seeds grow, taking photographs of their progress. 

Boccia

Today we have been learning to play Paralympic sport Boccia, which belongs to the same sporting family as petanque and bowls. We have some very skilled players in our class, developing their tactics!

Chinese New Year

Over the past half term, the children in Year 1/2 have been learning about Chinese New Year. Just some of the activities we have enjoyed are making a giant Chinese Dragon, Chinese Drums, Chinese cookies and Chinese envelopes. We have also been dragon dancing in PE!
